Documents that are required to obtain trade license in Assam:
Identity Proof (Any of below):
1. PAN Card
2. Voter Card
3. Driving License
4. Ration Card
5. Copy of bank passbook
6. Aadhaar Card
7. Passport
8. MCA registration certificate
9. Authorization letter from board to apply for the same.
Proof of Address where business is located:
If Self-Owned:
1. Electricity Bill
2. Copy of Bank passbook
3. Jamabandi
4. Sale deed
If owned by relative and being used by the business rent free, then an NOC from the owner of the land.
If rented:
1. Rent Agreement
2. Lease Agreement
3. NOC
Apart from above an Email ID and Phone number would be required.
After collating the above documents, you need to apply for trade license at Assam Government website. The process is a little complicated.
